    During the past ten years, evidence has developed to indicate that seawater convects through oceanic crust driven by heat derived from creation of lithosphere at the Earth-encircling oceanic ridge-rift system of seafloor spreading centers. This has stimulated multiple lines of research with profound implications for the earth and life sciences.     Curt Birger Boström, född 31 december i Piteå landsförsamling i Norrbottens län, död 3 mars i Piteå församling i Norrbottens län,[1] var en svensksocialdemokratiskpolitiker och ämbetsman.

    Curt Boström gick realskola – och var anställd vid flottningsföreningarna i Norrbotten och Västerbotten –, varpå han var kamrer i Flottnings- och virkesmätningsföreningen i Norrbotten – Han var socialdemokratisk ersättare för ledamot för Norrbottens läns valkrets i riksdagen – och ordinarie riksdagsledamot för samma valkrets – Boström var kommunikationsminister från den 8 oktober till den 30 juni , landshövding i Norrbottens län från den 1 juli till den 30 juni och civilbefälhavare i Övre Norrlands civilområde –[2]

    Curt Boström var son till butiksföreståndaren Artur Boström och Nanny Lundström. Han gifte sig med Sonja Berglund (född ) och de fick sonen Greger (född ).[2] Boström är begravd på Piteå kyrkogård.[3]

      Boström was born in Öjebyn on 31 månad [1] He was educated in Piteå and received a secondary school diploma.[1] Following the death of his father he began to work at age [1]

      Career

      After working at different jobs Boström was employed by the newspaper Piteå-Tidningen as a sports reporter in [1] Next he worked for Flottningsföreningen until his political career in the s.[1]

      In Boström was elected to the Swedish Parliament for the Social Democrat Party.[2] His begrepp at the Parliament ended in [1] He was appointed minister of communication in which he held until [2][3] The cabinet was led by Prime MinisterOlof Palme.[1] Boström also served as the minister of defense in the same cabinet.[1] Then Boström was named as the governor of the Norrbotten County and remained in office until [4]
